Waste Curbside Collection for Tight‑Access Businesses in Houston

When you don’t have room for a dumpster, trash turns into a daily headache – overflowing cans, blocked back doors, and last‑minute trash runs.

Our curbside crews quietly clear out waste on your schedule, so your team can focus on serving customers instead of removing trash.

What We Pick Up

We collect everyday commercial waste from your business so you don’t have to self‑haul or overload shared containers:

  • Bagged office and retail trash
  • Breakroom and restroom waste
  • Light packaging and non‑hazardous materials
  • Small, broken‑down cardboard bundles
  • Non‑hazardous waste from service areas and stockrooms

What’s Not Accepted

For safety and regulatory reasons, we can’t collect hazardous waste. If you’re unsure about a specific item, contact us to discuss accepted and unaccepted items.

Customers are asked not to place the following items in their garbage container: household chemicals, electronic waste (e.g., computer equipment), yard trimmings, hot ashes or coals, dead animals, and construction or demolition debris. These materials are prohibited due to safety and operational concerns. Chemicals and hot ashes pose a significant fire risk in collection vehicles. This includes paints and solvents.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes, our curbside service is designed for tight‑access locations, including alleys, rear entrances, and shared parking areas where traditional dumpsters don’t fit, or front‑load trucks struggle.

Pickup times vary by route, but we plan service to minimize disruption to your customers and deliveries. In many parts of Houston, that means early morning or off‑peak hours. When you request service, we’ll confirm the expected window for your address.

We offer flexible schedules based on your expected waste volume – from a few times per week up to daily service on certain routes. Tell us about your business, and we’ll recommend a frequency that keeps you clean without overpaying.

We ask that customers place all containers or materials in the designated pickup location by 7:00 AM on the scheduled service day. Containers must be positioned with adequate spacing and kept clear of obstructions, including vehicles, mailboxes, and utility poles, and should be placed directly in front of the service address. More details will be found in your service agreement.

No, our curbside waste collection service is available on its own, and you can add commercial recycling later if it makes sense for your business. However, commercial recycling is only available to active GW Services commercial waste customers.
